Every sale, return, receiving and transfer moves inventory the moment it happens, so the quantity on the screen is the quantity on the shelf. Give an item a reorder level and it starts watching itself. The low inventory report is then just a shopping list: what's below its level, at which store, and how short it is. Open the item itself and stock is broken out per location, each with its own quantity, its own reorder level and its own price if you need that.
Counting the floor is an adjustment, not a rebuild. Enter what you actually found, add a reason, and the difference is recorded against the employee who made it. And because it's all one catalog, the inventory summary shows total units, total cost and total retail value across every location you run.
