A new associate starts on Saturday. They need to be able to sell, and they don't need to see your margins. Every employee in PHP Point Of Sale is a record with their own login, their own pay rate and their own commission. Access is granted module by module. Sales, customers, items, reports, receiving, employees — you decide which of them this person opens at all. Then it goes a level deeper, to individual actions. Deleting a sale, changing a price, giving a discount, seeing cost price, seeing profit — each one is its own switch.
And on top of that, access is scoped by store, so a Denver manager runs Denver without touching Boulder. Define that once as a template and every future hire in that role gets the same setup. When somebody needs something extra, they can request it and a manager can approve it, instead of borrowing a password. Because sales are attributed to the person who made them, commission is calculated for you, performance is comparable, and the audit trail records who changed what.
