Sales Are Final
All hardware sales are final. Our products are fulfilled directly from suppliers and shipped on a special-order basis, which means we cannot accept cancellations or returns once an order has been placed.
Payment Authorization & Order Review
At the time of purchase, PHP Point of Sale will authorize your credit card for the full amount of the order total. After a manual review and verification of your order—including confirmation of product availability and shipping details—we will finalize and charge your card for the actual order amount. This ensures accuracy in pricing, shipping, and product substitution if required before payment is fully processed.
Shipping Charges, Handling & Adjustments
A preliminary shipping charge of 7% of the merchandise subtotal will be applied at checkout to serve as an estimated shipping and handling charge. Once the order is reviewed and actual costs are calculated, the following will apply:
- If the actual shipping and handling cost is greater than the estimated charge, PHP Point of Sale will contact the merchant and provide an invoice and payment link for the additional amount prior to fulfillment.
- If the actual shipping and handling cost is less than the estimated charge, PHP Point of Sale will notify the merchant and adjust the final total accordingly.
- PHP Point of Sale reserves the right to select the carrier and shipping method best suited to ensure timely and safe delivery.
Defective Equipment
If your equipment arrives defective, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. Verified defects will be handled under the manufacturer's warranty or, if approved by PHP Point of Sale management, through a return or replacement.
Exceptions & Restocking Fee
In rare cases where management authorizes a return for reasons other than defect, the item must be in its original packaging and condition, and a 30% restocking fee will apply.
Availability & Lead Times
All orders are subject to availability and manual review. While we make best efforts to only include items on our Hardware Hub that are readily available, certain products may be backordered, discontinued, or otherwise unavailable without notice.
- PHP Point of Sale reserves the right to substitute items with products that are reasonably comparable to the original order if necessary.
- The backorder, discontinuation, or unavailability of one or more items within an order does not entitle the customer to cancel the entire order.
- General lead time for delivery is 2–4 weeks from the date of order, but this is an estimate only and not a guarantee.
- PHP Point of Sale reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases where we suspect fraud, where products become unavailable, or where we determine it is not in our best interest to fulfill the order.
Warranty
All products are covered solely by the manufacturer's warranty, if applicable. PHP Point of Sale does not provide additional warranties and expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PHP Point of Sale is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
